Recently, I was sent Whish‘s Hand Remedy + Body Butter to try. I’ve used Whish products before, thanks to previous FabFitFun boxes.
Whish was founded by a husband and wife team, Jesse and Aimee Werner, in 2008. It was originally created to offer women a pleasant shaving experience while using all-natural ingredients. Aimee would often use her husband’s shaving cream and “whished” for a product just as creamy and smooth for women + Whish Beauty was born. All Whish products are paraben free, sulfate free, TEA & DEA free, petrochemical free, and all natural. In addition, Whish uses organic ingredients whenever and wherever possible to create a luxuriously indulgent and soothingly moisturizing experience.
The Rice Milk and Rose Hand Remedy ($22) feels great when applied and smells amazing – floral and sweet but not too empowering. It feels very light, doesn’t leave an oily or heavy finish and definitely feels moisturizing. It’s my favorite out of the two. I love this description on it, “It happens, one day you look down at your hands and see every dish washed, every weed pulled, every weight lifted, every year passed. While we appreciate hard work, we don’t necessarily want it advertised on our hands.” Such a true statement.
The Body Butter ($18) feels just as great. I know there’s a divide among coconut – if you love coconut, you’ll love this but if you don’t, then this isn’t a product for you. It smells like a coconut cocktail and gives me tropical vacation vibes. I probably won’t wear this as an everyday body lotion, but it’s nice to imagine lounging on the beach with the waves crashing + the Body Butter definitely takes you there.
