Another fall activity we enjoyed was going to the New York Aquarium. Practicing COVID-guidelines, we had to reserve tickets in advance for specific time slots.

Baby B loved seeing all of the fish, penguins, turtles, jellyfish, and enjoyed the sea lion show! We enjoyed the sharks most of all, but she fell asleep while we were in the exhibit, since it became darker throughout the tunnels. There were outdoor areas as well as indoor exhibits and the staff kept track of occupancy inside.

After we took a brief walk along the boardwalk. It’s off-season so the amusement park was closed, but with COVID – the bathrooms and most of the shops were closed as well. The beach was pretty bare but most of the traffic were people walking the boardwalk and down the docks.

Would love to return again when it’s summertime – I miss the boardwalk being so lively, and hearing that iconic Cyclone (rollercoaster).
