Hi everyone – new friends and old. I started blogging in 2008 and loved the community I’ve built and all of the brands I was fortunate to work with during that time. Eventually, life happened and I simply didn’t put any time in my blog anymore; 2017 was last post. Some of my blogging friends stayed in touch over Facebook + Instagram and it’s been nice seeing everyone grow over the years.
What’s new since then?
I lived in beautiful city view/water side apartment in Astoria, switched into a different work industry, got married in 2018, and had a beautiful baby girl in 2019, and moved back to the suburbs. I joined this amazing mom group, Fall Moms + Minis ’19. I highly recommend joining a mom group with babies all born around the same time – I’ve truly learned a lot with all of the tips being shared, and I love how supportive everyone is.
At the same time, many of my friends also had babies around the same year so I’m lucky I have two communities to look to for guidance and venting.
During this year’s quarantine, it taught me the value of quality time with family. The silver lining to this COVID pandemic, it forced us to stay home and I was fortunate to witness many of my daughter’s firsts alongside my husband.
Lately, I’ve also been inspired to relaunch my blog – somewhere to share my thoughts, memories, and share some insight on my own experience of parenthood. Excited for this creative outlet again!
